The range of Wolstenholme designs for home builders includes the 9ft Cockle, the 11ft Coot, the 12ft Mallard (originally designed for The Boatman magazine), and the 14ft6ins Swallow. Cockle is for multichine stitch and tape plywood construction, while the other three are intended for glued ply clinker construction but are also suitable for strip planking.

Cockle is available in complete or kit form from Seabird Boats (www.woodenboats.uk.com), and Coot is available in kit form from Jordan Boats (www.jordanboats.co.uk). Jordan Boats will also develop kits for Mallard and Swallow subject to demand.
